Depends on what you are using it for. It is a light duty glove. Thin. Light padding. Its well made though and what I wanted for summer mountain bike riding. I still am using mine after a full season of mountain biking on weekends in moderate to ugly conditions. My son, on the other hand, rides almost daily and does a lot of downhill with periodic crashes. He shredded it in 2 months. I would call his needs being more of heavy duty than this lighter duty glove. That being said, I would call this a good glove, well made, durable, comfortable, affords full hand protection.
